Journey to the City of Ticernace

                             Chapter 4
                                Twin Trouble 

"WHAT?!" Flax yowled. Basher peacefully stepped away from the door so Seriah and Flax could step through. Aunt Ezbeth hurried Flax and Seriah out of the door, grabbing a plate full of muffins and practically throwing them at Flax. All of the muffins tumbled onto the ground.
Flax and Seriah were already almost to Flax's house when Aunt Ezbeth finally picked up all of the muffins. Basher waved goodbye to Aunt Ezbeth (who had closed the door already)
before the large black dog walked into the alley.
"Come out Vanessa and Veronica." Basher grinned. The two white wolves came out.

Dear Reader, you do remember 'The Evil Sisters", don't you? They're those two white wolves with spike collars and those devil horns. They're both sisters and twins. Just to recap on which one was which, Vanessa was the wolf with the grayish purple collar and Veronica was the wolf with the red collar. Okay, back to the story.

"Good job trashing that goody goody Flax's house, you two." Basher smiled cruelly. The two white wolves brimmed with pride from the compliment. Veronica pushed in front of her sister, Vanessa so she was face to face with Basher. "Actually, I did all of the work you know, why thanks." Veronica told Basher, batting her long eyelashes. Vanessa made a slicing montion through her throat and pointed at Veronica. "Now now, don't fight. I know both of you did an amazing job. Shall we all go to somewhere to eat? And with that, the three of them walked down to the Cafe.

Flax and Seriah arrived at Flax's house. When Flax opened the door all that was seen was the look of horror on his face. The coush was shredded to pieces, dirt was tracked all over the once sparkling clean floor, the glass vases with flowers were shattered all over the place, the dishes were shattered all over the floor, and all of the furniture was ripped or shredded. Flax grabbed his phone and dialed the close by detective, "Hello, Detective R? What? Yes I can hold," Flax waited until Detective R came back on. "What? Okay. Tomorrow at 1:30 PM would be good. Okay then, see you tomorrow." Seriah offered for him to stay at her place. Flax agreed and thanked her before they left.
